What we collect when you visit or buy from kinetichike.com, why we collect it, who receives it and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. Who we are

In short: Sales Core B.V. decides how your information is used and is responsible for it.

KineticHike is operated by Sales Core B.V., Het Oldenhof 56, 8426CA Appelscha, Netherlands, company registration number 95115714. For any privacy question or request, email support@kinetichike.com.

2. What we collect

In short: What you give us at checkout, what you write to us, and how you use the site.

Contact and delivery details: your name, email address, phone number, billing address and delivery address.
Order details: what you bought, when, and what you paid.
Payment details: your payment is processed by Shopify and the payment provider you choose at checkout. We receive confirmation that you paid, the card type and its last four digits. We never see or store your full card number.
Messages: anything you send us by email, by phone or through a form on the site.
Device and browsing data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and what you add to your cart. This is collected with cookies and similar technologies.

3. Why we use it

In short: To deliver your order, answer you, keep the store safe and, if you allow it, advertise.

To take payment, pack, ship and track your order, and to handle returns and refunds. We need this to carry out our contract with you.
To answer your questions and requests.
To prevent fraud and keep the site secure. This is in our legitimate interest and yours.
To keep the tax and accounting records the law requires.
To send marketing emails, only if you signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
To measure our advertising and show our ads on other sites, as described in section 7.

4. Who receives it

In short: Only the companies that help us run the store and deliver your order.

Shopify, which hosts our store and runs the checkout and payment processing.
Our warehouse in Yiwu, China, and the carriers who deliver your order. They receive your name, delivery address, phone number and the contents of your order.
Our parcel tracking provider, 57Track. When you use the Track Your Order page, it receives your tracking number and your IP address.
Our advertising and analytics partners: Meta, Google and TikTok. They receive device and browsing data, as described in section 7.
Authorities, where the law requires us to disclose information.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

5. Where your information goes

In short: It is handled in the Netherlands, China, the United States and other countries.

Our company is in the Netherlands, our warehouse is in China, and several of the providers in section 4 operate in the United States and elsewhere. Your information is therefore processed outside the country where you live. We share only what each provider needs to do its job, such as your name and address with the warehouse and the carrier so your order can be delivered.

6. How long we keep it

Order and payment records: 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires.
Messages to support: for as long as we need them to answer you and to handle any related return, refund or dispute.
Server logs and browsing data: held by Shopify and by the advertising partners named in section 5, under their own retention rules. We keep no separate copy.
Marketing email address: until you unsubscribe.

7. Cookies and advertising

In short: Some cookies make the store work. Others are for advertising, and you can turn those off.

Necessary cookies keep your cart, run the checkout and protect the site. The store does not work without them.
Advertising and analytics cookies and pixels from Meta, Google and TikTok tell us which ads led to a visit or an order, and let those companies show you our ads on other sites.

You can refuse or switch off advertising and analytics cookies at any time through the “Your privacy choices” link in the footer, and in your browser settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, our store treats it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your data.

8. Your rights

In short: Ask us, and we will show you, correct or delete what we hold about you.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy;
correct information that is wrong;
delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it;
stop sending you marketing;
stop sharing your browsing data for advertising.

Email support@kinetichike.com from the address you ordered with. We answer within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

Because our company is established in the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to how we handle your information. You may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Residents of some US states have similar rights under their own state's law, and we honor requests made under those laws.

9. Security

Every page of this site, including checkout, is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Payment details are entered directly into Shopify's checkout and are handled by certified payment providers. No online service can promise perfect security, so please tell us at once if you think your order or account has been misused.

10. Children

This store is for adults. You must be 18 or older to order, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
